The video installation Dust. Just. is a microscopic scan of house dust. It focuses on the personal dust cloud that surrounds each person, and is as individual and unique as one’s own fingerprint.

The microscope forms the window to everyday life. The dust provides an unconsciously intimate insight into different realities of life.

The sound of the video consists of dust sounds recorded with a balloon as a resonating body and a contact microphone.
The dust samples were recorded with a light microscope and a scanning electron microscope.
